Mapping Home
My Blue Line consists of my different houses and apartments I have lived in so far in my life. They range from my house on Spring Branch to my apartments in San Antonio and Austin. The odd dot in Canada is a small town located inside of a National Forest. The town is called Banff and was a popular ski resort town my mother and I visited every spring break for almost 6 or 7 years. It was I that broke the tradition, though. On our first day of skiing the last time we went up there, I broke my wrist in a snowboarding accident. However, that city has been an important part of my life. All of these places have been. They have all helped shape me for who I am today. Without all of these experiences, I would not be me.

The line connecting these places is the route of travel I normally take, or have taken, in between cities and countries. For example, in Austin, both of my apartment locations lead to the UT campus. My home in Cypress serves as a central hub between all of these places. It is the place I always come back to, my home away from home.
